"Coronavirus could infect two-thirds of globe, top scientist says"

In the Bible, it says during the End Times, a large portion of the world's population will be affected by the plague. Here are some references:
Revelation 9:
17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. 19 For [e]their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.

As of today, the ratio of death to infected is about 1,400 to 65,000 which is about 1:50. This is much less that the biblical reference of one third of the population will perish which is 1:3. However, this could be a foreshadow of what is to come.
There is also reports today of strange lights in the sky of Malaysia and Singapore.

Previously we took the ratio of death to infected. However, for those who are infected, some may recover while others would be fatal. So to get an indication of how deadly COVID-19 is, it is better to use the death to recovered ratio. From this set of Hubei statistics, the death to recovered ratio is 1596 : 5623, or equivalent to 1 : 3.52. Comparing this number to Scriptures above, 'a third of mankind killed', that ratio is 1:2 (two thirds not killed). Although the ratio is not the same, it is not too different either.

A few unexpected developments with COVID-19, since the last update. Korea has overtaken Singapore as having the most infections apart from China; Japan should not be counted second or third place because its numbers included the cruise ship which had a few hundred infections. The virus seems to be more contagious than first thought, now it is believed the virus can be passed from people with no symptoms and able to survive outside of its host fr longer periods. Although it is more infectious, it 'seems' to be less deadly - but this beggars the question why is over 700 million people placed in lockdown. Several relevant articles are here:

Those who have followed the financial markets since the beginning of the Covid-19 Novel Coronavirus pandemic, may have thought a market crash may be cushioned by switching investments from Equities to safe-havens like Gold or Bonds. They would also have seen though, that these safe-havens were not spared the downturn, although not as savage as equities. WHY are gold and government bonds falling? CASH - people are selling every asset class and moving into cash.
Anything wrong with cash? No, unless everyone wants it at the same time. The new startups in New-Finance are crashing bad, so digital banking may be facing its initiation by fire.
More interesting is the seriousness this situation is treated by the Federal Reserve:
